Excursions

You can go on daily trips from Privlaka. They are organized by travel agencies. You can travel by bus or boat to the unique and beautiful national parks and nature parks (Kornati, Telašcica, Krka, Paklenica, Velebit, Plitvice), night trips to the nearby islands or multi-day cruises.

NP Kornati

National Park Kornati is a unique island group in the Mediterranean with 89 islands and rocks and total surface of 302 km2. Landscapes and panoramas are specific to boaters and many visitors park. Due to the exceptional beauty of its landscape, interesting geomorphology, indented coastline and especially the rich biodiversity of the marine ecosystem in 1980. most of the Kornati archipelago was declared a national park.

NP Krka

Part of this river and area are proclaimed national park for its enormous natural, scientific and cultural value in 1985. Beside many smaller cascades Krka also has eight bigger waterfalls; two of them are the most beautiful -Roski slap and Skradinski buk, in the national park.

NP Paklenica

The area of Paklenica National Park stretches on the littoral slope of South Velebit directly above the settlement of Marasovići, up to the zone of the highest mountain peaks (Vaganski vrh, Babin vrh, Sveto brdo). It covers the area of torrent flows of Velika Paklenica and Mala Paklenica, and their distinctive canyons carved vertically into the south slopes of Velebit and the broader surrounding area. The relatively small area has an abundance of geomorphological phenomena and forms, diverse flora and fauna, attractive landscapes and intact nature.

NP Plitvice lakes

The most beautiful and the most popular Croatian national park, part of the UNESCO’s World Heritage, situated at the main road from Zagreb to Dalmatia. There are large forestry complexes in the Park area, of which some sections are protected as a special reserve of forestry vegetation due to its primeval characteristics (Corkova uvala virgin forest).
